Is Apartheid and Genocide Lawful?
What does genocide have to do with human trafficking? Genocide is a term invented to deal with the mass extermination or migration of a specific people group or ethnicity. By its definition, it covers violence done to vulnerable populations. As do issues like violence against minorities, the exploitation of conflict refugees, the mass migration of people away from conflict zones, and the targeting of vulnerable populations for various types of exploitation. The UN estimates that there are some 43 million refugees in the world as a result of conflict or persecution. Modern-day slavery is a form of exploitation, and one that invariably targets people from lower socioeconomic castes, tribal groups, minorities, refugees, and anyone else who is put in a vulnerable and desperate situation as a result of where they are born, who they are or what they believe. With that in mind, we want to take the month of April and dedicate it to the TIP Report Heroes that are working in conflict zones, or with victims of conflict or genocide.
To innerstand what is really going on, we must address the elephant in the room.
Within several decades of being enslaved in their own lands whch had been turned into the American colonies, The indigenous Americans were stripped of natural born rights as men, women and children, renamed as a political people and status then reduced to human rights and then enslaved as chattel, an enslavement that lasted well over two centuries. Usurpers and Slavers whipped slaves who displeased them. The Clergy or Bible thumpers preached that slavery was the will of God.
The Scientists purport to "prove" that the indigenous people who had been renamed negroes, then blacks and now African Americans were less evolved-a subspecies of the human race. The invention of the cotton gin in 1793 so-called solidified the importance of slavery to the South's economy.
By the mid-19th century, America's westward expansion, along with a growing anti-slavery movement in the North, provoked a national debate over slavery that helped precipitate and usher in the American Civil War (1861-65). Though the Union victory freed the nation's four million slaves, the legacy of slavery influenced American history, from the chaotic years of Reconstruction (1865-77) to the civil rights movement that emerged in the 1950s. We must ask ourselves has much change in the politics.
Slavery in any form is unlawful. Has anyone paid attention to some forms of Slavery today? Many people in this land have claims against the government but with the commerce world moving at 1,000,000 miles an hour it seems like there is not much time to address these important issue because everyone has to keep a roof over their head, put food on the table, pay this bill to keep lights and this bill to keep water, etc.

Apartheid refers to the implementation and maintenance of a system of legalized racial segregation in which one racial group is deprived of political and civil rights. Apartheid is a crime against humanity punishable under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
The term “apartheid”, an Afrikaans word, derived from the French term “mettre à part”, literally translated to “separating, setting apart.” Apartheid is a policy that is founded on the idea of separating people based on racial or ethnic criteria. Usually, the separation operated by apartheid is exercised over geographical areas, putting one part of the population in an area separated from the others, or forbidding a group to access some areas solely based on their belonging to a race or ethnicity.
Apartheid policies include, but are not limited to: the prohibition of mixed marriages, banning a specific racial or ethnic group from access to certain meetings and unions, and the restriction of movement, prohibiting access to certain public spaces.
Apartheid was conceptualized in South Africa in the 20th century. Based on racial segregation, the South African Apartheid aimed to separate the minoritarian white population from the Black population, by designating areas prohibited to Black people. Starting in the 17th Century, in the context of colonization, European populations settled in South Africa and ended up recusing their European roots (from the Netherlands, France and Germany) in order to claim their Africanity.
The racially discriminatory motivated apartheid in South Africa lasted until international sanctions emerged, imposed by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) (such as binding embargoes on the sale of weapons) or the rupture of diplomatic relations.
In South Africa, the movement against the Apartheid led by Nelson Mandela resulted in the very recent abolition of Apartheid in the 1990s.
Nonetheless, Apartheid is not considered an antiquated regime: several human rights organizations highlighted that Apartheid regimes and policies currently live on in certain areas of the world. Amnesty International has reported that Israeli authorities, by prohibiting Palestinians from entering certain areas through military checkpoints, roadblocks and fences, and controlling the movement of Palestinians within the Occupied Palestinian Territories along with restricting their national and international travel, impose an Apartheid regime.
